Corecork successfully used in paddle rackets

Portugal 17/11/2013

The new paddle racket - that has been developed for over a year by Amorim Cork Composites - was one of the stars at the Lisbon International Open 2013.

Juan Martín Díaz (the Drop Shot brand ambassador) and Fernando Belasteguin pioneered the use of the brand's latest model of paddle rackets using the Super Rebond Cork system based on a Corecork solution.

The Super Rebond Cork system is a unique system in paddle's market. It is a new laminated system on the face of the racket, with a special high density cork film that provides the racket with an extra touch and power and reduces the vibrations.

This innovative racket is made with carbon titanium, a material that gives more stability and precision to hits. It consists of bidirectional 3k cork with titanium threads, which gives a superior playability. The tube frame consists of a system based on two parallel carbon tubes built at high temperatures that gives more stability and reduces vibrations. This unique system in paddle offers a better balance to the racket increasing its manageability.
